Victim of new technologies which pursue him relentlessly, of information which assails him from one end of the planet to the other 24 hours a day, the man of the twenty-first century favors the frantic race over reflection. Indifferent to the reptilian threat, the hourglass flows inexorably, rotating on its axis.
