SHE

“SHE” is a part of the diptyque “He/She”, inspired from the Apollo/Artemis twins of the Greek mythology, also the animus / anima, the female versus male part that we all have. “She” / the anima / or the female side, in this picture is in close contact with her intimate self with the phone depicted in between her legs, however not necessarily sexual. In Vianne’s works the phone represents a means of contact with the Self.
